5 WordPress Plugins That Make Life Easier

Date July 31, 2007

With the daily dilemma of coming up with quality content, blogging can be hard work. Why bother dealing with the technicalities of the WordPress administration interface when you’ve got nifty to plugins to make life a whole lot easier? I’ve taken the liberty to compile a ‘different’ list of plugins from the rest, that help you combat every thing from people that steal your content, to creating affiliate landing pages out of blog posts you’ve written. And if that isn’t enough, we could always use a little boost in productivity from customizing the WordPress admin panel. Check ‘em out and let me know how they’re working for you :)
Digital Fingerprint - Adds a digital fingerprint to your posts so you can search the web to see if your content has been scraped. Great utility to combat Sploggers (people who rampantly steal your content and do not attribute)

Post2Page - Write a post that should really be on permanent display? Turn it in to a page with this plugin and have it handle the URL redirects to boot.

Page Link Manager - Allows you to easily rearrange pages, hide them, and move them at will.

Fix Database - Will check your WordPress database for errors and attempt to fix them.

Preview Pane - If you upgrade/install WordPress 2.2.x, the Preview Frame has gone missing, as the developers decided to leave it out, and it is a vital tool on checking your posts, so this plug-in restores that functionality.

Is there any plugin, which would help me found out not only sploggers but also help me punish them. I have seen some blogs just pulled my posts as it is on their blog, and I dont have any way to contact them.
