- Getting a -1 on your PageRank doesn’t mean you suck, only that Google doesn’t love you as much. But Why Care? Your readers do, don’t they? (hint: Andy Beard, John Chow, Yaro Starak)
- If you’re a small fish in the big sea, don’t let that little green bar do the talking for you. Your content will speak volumes and your readers will reciprocate with great feedback and comments. Now thats a mark of approval that no one can deny
- I will still visit your blog and hell, I’ll even buy advertising on it if you have a lower PR. You’ve worked hard to establish yourself , and I’ll advertise your PR penalized blog because your authoritative voice is worth the dollars I pay.
- Being in the sandbox is sucky, but that doesn’t should stop you from dominating the SERP’s. Page Rank is just teeny weeny factor to consider if all you’re really aiming for is traffic. Instead focus on building quality inbound links!
- Don’t let Google think it’s your boss. After all, if webmasters and bloggers didn’t collaboratively create enough unique content, they wouldn’t really have a market to offer their search services to

Excellent post! The whole obsession with PR is amazing but your post puts the issue into perspective in a very real and useful way!

Hear hear! PR is only a small part of the picture. As bloggers we should be more concerned with producing quality content and promoting ourselves!
