While I’m not the most ardent fan of all that Steve Jobs has to offer, there are thousands of lovers of all things Apple. Unfortunately, many Apple products are quite a bit pricier than their PC counterparts, which often gives a clear price advantage to buying a PC over an Apple product.
But lo and behold the wonders of the net, there is a life for used Mac products beyond the trenches of eBay. DVWarehouse provides used mac and macintosh parts at affordable prices. A quick look around the used mac category on DVWarehouse shows some decent offerings of iMacs, iBooks, G3’s and G4’s.
I can certainly see this being a valuable resource to save money for individuals who use macintosh products on a daily basis, such as design students and even professors. For example, the pre-owned iBook G3 at $295 is sufficiently powered at 600Mhz and 256mb Ram with a 15Gb hard drive for light internet surfing and word processing.
Check out http://www.dvwarehouse.com as it is a good place to look for a used mac, or to find parts for old macintosh products if you have one already.

There’s quite a few ways to check on updates to the plethora of RSS feeds most netizens subscribe to, but not all methods are created equal. Although I prefer reading my feeds through Google Reader, it does mean I have to login to the Google Reader website and spend my time sorting through feeds. This isn’t always productive, especially when I originally intend to read updates to a few of my favourite blogs.

Enter a service that delivers your feed updates to you via instant messenger, namely Feed Crier. For the sites you regularly visit anyways, this is a huge time saver as you’ll get alerted via IM for any blog updates.
The point here is to make sure you only add your favourite feeds though, because you’ll get overloaded with IM pings with the mass of feeds you’ve already subscribed to. Thankfully, FeedCrier does come equipped with a Panic button and filtering options that can be set to determine the frequency with which you are notified of updates via IM.
Check out FeedCrier

RSSHugger is the next concept to take off around the directory/viral marketing hybrids such as the Million Dollar Wiki, 1000 Links, and others. The site has been launched by Colin LaHay who also is responsible for Wordhugger.
RSSHugger is essentially a directory of RSS feeds, with nifty features as the top hundred blogs and random blog of the day. Previously, a blogger had to pay $10 to register their blog for a period of 10 years within the RSS Hugger directory, but after listening to the community outcry’s requesting the removal of the fee, Colin’s decided to trade inclusion in RSSHugger for backlinks and a review instead.
According to the RSSHugger website, the benefits of blog/rss feed inclusion are:
# Raise awareness of your blog
# Send tons of visitors to your blog
# Share traffic with the community
# Be part of a viral/buzz marketing campaign
# Build deep-links for your blog to help with search engine optimization
# Get new interested RSS subscribers who view your content on a regular basis. ‘
Now that’s not half bad if RSSHugger actually delivers on its promises. John Chow and Pete Cashmore from Mashable are all signed up, so I figure its worth letting my readers know about it.
So its pretty simple, register at the site, blog about it, and you’re well on your way to a hopeful return of traffic and increased RSS subscriptions.

*/Start Rant
I looked for a theme long and hard,
Among the masses that were free,
Then came along many an internet marketer,
Admiring this theme donned by me.
They said it was pretty with clean cut corners
And for it I received many an honour
But in the end it was copied by many.
‘Tis the next Misty Look that John Chow taketh
A popular theme did he quite make it
But lost of lustre with all it mustered
Bearing the brunt of blogs numbered many.
I have lost my lustre, and Cleaker has rusted
My originality lays busted, as I am unique no more.
And if I had the money, I’d give my honey a make-over that scores.
*/End Rant
40 is the new 30. Pink is the new Black. Cleaker is the new Misty Look…Period.
Here’s a run down of all the fine internet marketers that just *loved* this theme so much, that they just had to use it:
And quite a few more, although I can’t recall them all!
*This post was intended in jest. Cleaker is a free theme that absolutely anyone can use, but I would suggest you fine folks modify it a little, just so we’re not mistaken for each other. It’s all in the branding ya know
*
PS: I don’t usually rhyme this bad…

I love being productive and I’m absolutely fascinated with the various tools available online that help towards saving time, making money and boosting my overall productivity. Call it a life hack if you will, but there’s something inherently pleasing about shaving a few minutes off a tedious task.
docstoc is a site that you can use to find just about any document you need. You name, its got it. Ranging from free personal budget templates, lease templates, business plans, calendars, and self help ebooks, to free legal will documents, the list goes on and on. From the looks of it, the site is entirely user driven, with a facility to upload your generic document template.
DocStoc isn’t the holy grail of templates by any means, as different considerations must be made for important documents such as leases, partnership agreements and wills, but it certainly provides a useful place to start off modifying your document templates.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Although we’ve celebrated Thanksgiving in Canada earlier on, I’d like to show my thanks to everyone else that celebrates Thanksgiving today. I’ve a lot to be thankful for, and while I’d love to share some good ol’ roast turkey with my readers (sadly, that’s not quite possible…yet), I’ll reflect on all the great things that I’m thankful for in my life.
In my personal life, I am thankful for my great family and girlfriend - They’ve supported me in this out of the ordinary venture into internet marketing, blogging, and search engine optimization since Day 1.
I’d like to thank all the readers of this blog - Your loyalty keeps giving me a reason to keep up with generating fresh and insightful content. Your comments give me valuable feedback and encourage conversations.
A thank you to my advertisers - Adii Pienaar (the wordpress rockstar), Don from Make Money Make Sales and Tim from eMonetized for partnering with DailyMoolah.
I hope you’ve had a great thanksgiving holiday folks. Look forward to more tips on making money online this holiday season by subscribing to my rss feed
