DailyMoolah October Blog Traffic and Income Report
November 6, 2007
October was DailyMoolah’s best month yet! Breaking almost every prior traffic metric, this blog performed exceedingly well compared to the first 2 months of its operation. In what was an exciting month overall for the blogging and search marketing community, I too was one among many bloggers to blog about the PageRank fiasco, penalties, and more.
As the month neared its end, some equally suspenseful moments came about, especially with the addition of DailyMoolah’s first advertisers, and the toolbar PageRank update to PR3.
Ranking Roundup
Daily Moolah started off the month with an Alexa ranking of 105,433. After writing 26 blog posts in October, my Alexa ranking has improved to 66,663! I’ve had an increase of 1300 backlinks since August, with 3070 backlinks as reported by Yahoo Site Explorer. This has been a major improvement from the 1759 backlinks to this domain as described in my September income report. Technorati ranking improved to 43,000 at one point in October, although it is back up to 50,273. The blog totaled 228 Technorati reactions by the end of October.
The most popular blog posts for September were:
- Look Ma No Hands
- Google Blog Search Bypass Plugin ( My Very 1st Plugin
) - Text-Link-Ads De-indexed and Penalized by Google
- 5 Ways to Boost Your eBay Sales
- make money online with Google Custom Search
- How to Get Visited by Probloggers Using Google Alerts
Traffic Statistics
October was the month of StumbleLove for this blog. Traffic skyrocketed at the start of the month and continued to ride the wave of new visitors to the blog until the middle of the month.
- Total Pageviews: 27,316 ( + 90.16% from September’s 14,365)
- Total Unique Views: 13,710 ( + 103% from September’s 7,153)
- %New Visits: 88.50%

Here’s a screen shot of my referral traffic
Top Keywords for October:
- make money online
- make money online daily
- watch movies in divx format on blog sites
- making money online
- all in one seo plugin
RSS Subscriptions
RSS Subscriptions grew to 125 readers on average for October, although this growth isn’t significant by any means. My goal for November will be to grow readership by 50 readers or more. Stay on the lookout for a nifty contest that will help meet that objective
Earnings Report
October income was as follows:
- Private Advertising Deals $50
- Google Adsense $18
- Smorty $12
- PayLoadz $5
- SEO Book $90
- Affiliate Marketing $ 100
- Blog Consultancy $ 450
- TOTAL Income $715
It’s certainly been a rough ride for the month of October with a fair number of online and offline activities. I’d like to say a big thank you to all my readers, and the great sponsors that keep this blog going ![]()

Good work Dev! It’s good to see things constantly improving.
I was out of the country with no internet access for most of October so I didn’t have an opportunity to keep up with you posts.

Thanks folks!
@ Warrior Blog - I wish I had more time for affiliate marketing, but between consultancy, SEO work, daily errands and more, it’s pretty hard to fit in the time.
Shout outs to Monika, SteelTownDubbr, and Ruchir - Thanks for being such loyal readers

Great job Dev! I think your RSS growth is impressive when considering all the other things you accomplish in a day. I’m in a similar situation with the promotion of my niche sites and products. As long as my blog grows at least a little each month I’m happy, but it never hurts to have higher expectations.
Your Alexa growth is very impressive. Although it’s not 100% accurate it’s becoming more and more difficult to cheat it’s algorithm as of late, so having a traffic ranking of 66,000 is quite impressive for such a young blog.
Keep up the good work.
