6 Plugins That Boost Your Productivity By 500%
August 23, 2007
Do have any idea how much time you waste everyday logging into your WordPress administration panel to do routine tasks such as moderating comments, managing post entries, and editing or writing posts? While Wordpress is a very efficient blogging platform, you might be surprised by the loss in productivity you are suffering due to it’s inefficient administration interface. I’ve compiled a list of 5 plugins that do away with the drudgery of the admin panel, and focus on what you do best - blogging your heart away
- Multiply - A plugin for WordPress which allows multiple blogs from within the one administration interface. Includes one-click creation of new blogs, with per-blog user permissions, plugins, themes. If you’re running multiple blogs, using this plugin can give you a huge boost to your productivity. Please backup your data before attempting to use this plugin.
- Better Comments Manager- A plugin which allows you to reply to comment from within the admin panel. It uses Ajax to respond to comments so you do not have to leave the comments page while commenting. This will prove useful to bloggers who simply can’t keep up with the number of comments they face. Luckily, this plugin is also compatible with Brian’s Threaded Comments.
- Create N Place - With this plugin, you can write new blog posts right on the front page of your blog — there is no need to log into the admin system to write a new post.
- Edit N Place - A free Ajax powered plugin for WordPress, that lets you edit your post right on the front page of your blog. The plugin now includes quicktag buttons like bold, italics, link, img, and more.
- WP-Chunk - This nifty plugin will take all those long url’s that your readers love to post in their comments, and gracefully shorten them
- Subscribe to Comments - A plugin that allows commenters on your blog to check a box before commenting and get e-mail notification of further comments. This is especially useful when readers wish to be notified of any answers to questions they’ve posed within your blog’s comments.
Your productivity is guaranteed to get a healthy boost with these nifty plugins. Better start blogging now!

Why did you linked directly to downloads? That’s bad practice since as soon as the plugins get updated, links will become irrelevant.
Please link to direct main pages of plugins.

I like the idea of the :Subscribe to Comments - plug in.
This should help to reduce spam comments as well.

I have better comments and like it very much. The author introduced version 1.4 recently. I am going to try wp-chunk. Which one of the wp editors do you like? I find the what you see editor on wp does not offer much. Which editor plug-in is eveyone’s favorite?
